CMED Group has a goal of constructing a new office building to house their multiple companies within the group and this goal will only last for 5 years as the land will be converted in a high rise building in the future. Besides accommodating the various programs requirements the architecture and the interior design has to be ideal and on budget for the lifespan of the building.
We separate the office into 2 wings, old and new and they are connected by the central lobby space that acts as a circulation zone. The exterior façade is capitalizing on the frontage views from the street and thus the most articulated face of the whole building. The punctured and extruded wall creates rhythm to the street and shading for the building.
