Inspired by the New Khmer Architecture, Over/Under Architecture office is design to admire the exposed materials, the materials and structure that make up the enclosed space. The exterior is built to float, hover and reaching out into the landscape. Every detail is considered in order to make the building envelop suitable for the Cambodian climate of hot and wet. The interior on the other hand is designed to have multiple voids in space so the team can feel connected and related to one another even at different levels.
Over/Under Architecture has a feature kitchen/pantry that is open, welcoming and fit for all. The library wall extends up to two-story high and the furniture is customized to reach the full potential of creativity. Other features include the brick barrel ceiling, internal bridges and exposed wooden ceiling.
