1100’s renovation and expansion of the Riverside Health Center, a public facility managed by the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, will support the Center’s mission to promote the health of the Upper West Side community. The design team collaborated with several city agencies on the development of architectural solutions that encourage physical activity, the results of which became part of the city’s Active Design Guidelines and led to the creation of a new LEED Innovation Credit. The building is on track to receive LEED Silver certification and will reduce energy costs by at least 20%. This project is part of the NYC Department of Design and Construction Design Excellence Program.
Villa Town is a residential development project consists of 5 types of houses and a pool house. With 6HA of land, Re-Edge designed each houses with the consideration of comfort and style and the flexibility to rearrange the programs inside the space. Due to its marketability, the client requires a design that is modern and yet classic. Re-Edge is able to meet this requirement and incorporate contemporary design into some functions such as the shop house and the pool house. Re-Edge make use of the urbanity of the shop house to design poetry of architectural language that faces the urban road. The pool house on the other hand has a relaxation approach and an urban resort feeling. It boosts an infinity swimming pool, shaded playground, information office, a café, a gym, a minimart and locker room.
