Rose Apple Square is a new mixed-use community development in the heart of Siem Reap town. We developed 3 distinct zones: residential condo, co-living and co-working space that are carefully designed to give a sense of community where needed as well as private spaces and accessibility where needed.
This vibrant community square invites people to linger, interact and connect. Making it a truly community and lifestyle destination. Rose Apple Square comprises of:
Forum- a co-working space and research hub for cultural and policy research with conference and performance facilities.
Commune- a co-living apartments designed for urbanites who enjoy quality city living with cultural awareness
Strata Office- the first strata-titled office space in Siem Reap to inspire the ecosystem of the entire community
Residences- an enriching living experience that connect people, professionals and travelers with its activities and facilities
Strategically we have maximized the massing design toward North-South solar orientation with interior cores that are porous horizontally as well as vertically to promote natural ventilation, green space and views connectivity. The North and South massing perfectly carve out the SPINE that run down the entire length of the site with multiple levels, ensuring visual connectivity and yet providing a healthy green space, yoga deck, swimming pool, children playground and gym in the middle where people would come together like a Square in the middle of the site.
Despite height limitation, we managed to carve out certain interior spaces that are double and triple in ceiling height. These common spaces are directly facing the Spine connecting people and activities together. Making it a truly community development.
Inspired by the lines and forms of the local architecture and temples we translated those articulation into our balcony projection. Those lines become the identity of the project.
