SHV Hotel

The triangular site is located at the prominent golden lion roundabout. The building is designed as a BASE + TOWER .

The terraced and perforated base houses the lobby, party halls, restaurants and rental spaces culminating in an infinity pool. The base allows the sea breeze to circulate through the various spaces, it is designed as a series of terraces filled with plants. The hotel is designed as a tropical oasis with screen walls made of local materials, Concrete blocks and vegetation. The sea breeze is allowed to flow freely through the lobby, restaurant and walkways. The décor is comprised of local, earthy materials and finishes. The TOWER houses a variety of rooms with views to the sea and culminates with a  stunning SKYBAR overlooking  the horizon.

The overall environment is that of  a soothing, calm and  naturally ventilated retreat nestled amidst greenery.
